We’ve spent time in the classroom and in the field preparing ourselves to be real contributors to Paleontology and Natural History, our next adventure will be to spend a weekend learning from some of the true heavyweight academics in this field. On Tuesday we will meet Alumni and Leaders from previous PALEOS trips at the Rapid City Airport in Rapid City, South Dakota, and head straight into the field to re-visit active fossil localities and continue our investigation in the latest cretaceous rocks of WY, ND, and MT. After a couple days in the dirt discovering fossils, we’ll clean up and head to Ekalaka, MT for a weekend of fun and camaraderie with some of the greatest Paleontologists working in North America today.
